8" Herring - 1.2oz swimming head
Weight:
1.2oz head, 1oz tail. (2.2oz total weight)
The 8" Herring swimbait with a 1.2oz head is our slow sinking model that falls about 1’ per second. Fished with a slow retrieve it swims about 6’-8’ deep depending on the length of cast as well as current and conditions. Fishes great on a steady retrieve with a hard thumping action and when jerked and paused it mimics the action of a dying baitfish.
This lure also excels when trolling. Fished trolled at 3.5 mph expect this lure to run about 10’-13’ deep.
(An upper water column, shallow swimmer designed to him 3’-4’ is currently being prototyped. Coming later this year.)
A black dot on the back of the head calls out the 2oz head weight. A white dot calls out the 1.2oz head weight.
